Mixing – Always stir well before use with a flat paddle.
Application Method – Airless Spray Brush and Roller.
Thinning – This Product is ready for use un-thinned; thinning with water will reduce its hiding power.
Cleaning – Application equipment clean up is with clean tap water.
- Stir well before use.
- With brush or roller, Or Spray apply a generous/thick coat of to the area that needs protecting in small manageable sections.
- Firmly and evenly press a layer of woven fabric waterproofing membrane such as Biddim into the wet layer of LRP™ with RostGuard™
- Allow to dry 4-6 hours before recoating.
- Apply a second, third and possibly a fourth generous coat, waiting 4-6 hours between coats, until the membrane is totally saturated and the surface has an even and very noticeable high sheen.
- This Product is ready for use un-thinned; thinning with water will reduce its hiding power and effectiveness.
- Three to four coats of this Product are used for best results.
- Application equipment clean up is with clean tap water.
- Do not apply before 09:00 and after 16:00 in the winter.
- Do not apply exterior if it looks like rain will occur within 4-6 hours of application..
1-3 SQM per 1 liter
Although the spreading rate will vary with porosity and type of substrate, for uncoated new surfaces work on 0.5-1 square meters per liter for the first coat and 2-3 square meters per liter for subsequent coats and for when applied to sealed, previously painted substrates.
